Good Friday: Fire Service Prevent Tanker Explosion In Lagos

Lagos State Fire Service (LSFS) has prevented another fire flare-up from a 45,000 litres petrol-laden fluent vehicle along with Lagos State University (LASU), Igando Express Way, Village Bus Stop, Lagos. The Acting Head of LSFS, Mrs Margaret Adeseye, who revealed this on Friday in Lagos, said the service secure and disaster call earlier in the day at 7 a.m.







She said that the firefighters from Ojo Fire Station were bang on locating to the scene.

“On advent at the scene, the firefighters reveal fuel leakage on 45,000 litres fully laden Mazda tanker, with registration number AAA 198 XZ.











“The tanker was carry Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from Apapa to Agbara. The firefighters, nevertheless, offset the strength of the cheerful and prevent another likely fire outbreak,” she said.

Adeseye said that in enmity of the lockdown, a good number of fire linked disaster had been successfully managed.

Adeseye urged Lagos householder to always stay safe and report fire outbreaks on time.
